History
Northern Lights P.S. was officially opened on Tuesday. September 3, 2003. It was named after the Aurora Borealis. Our school mascot is the ice cat to signify the north and the strength and cunning of the lynx. A child-care centre owned and operated by York Professional Child Services is located at the school.
The school motto is "Show the light within you, and let your true colours shine!"
